background
The Snooze is the basic instrumental demo of Let It All Come Down. It is instantly recognisable as the song featuring the same instrumention and arrangement. Despite the simplicity of this demo, the band have added extra ideas and florishes which aren't present on the final recording.

It first appears as the eleventh track of the first reel of the Street Fighting Years library in the Virgin archive. However, it is not a good recording, and suffers from distortion and lack of clarity.

Rough #1 is now almost the same musically as album take but there are some slight differences and the coda (which is a repeat of the chorus) is missing. Most of the lyrics are in place, but Jim adds "Las" and other vocal refrains to act as guide vocals where they are missing.

lyrics
Rough #1
So let it all come, let it all come down.
Why don't you let it all come, let it all come down?

[hums]

When you wake there's a new day dawning,
When you wake there's a cold wind blowing,
When day breaks there's a whole shines through.

[la, la, la]

Let it all come, let it all come down.
Why don't you let it all come, let it all come down?

[la, la, la]

A new day dawning,
A new day dawning,
Shines through.

So let it all come, let it all come down.
