Promised You A Miracle was first conceived during
a jamming and writing sessions at Rockfield
in January 1982. At this stage it was probably an instrumental jam.
The formal demo was the Kid Jensen session recorded in February 1982. (Rather
than book studios, the band would occasionally record demos during their radio sessions). The band immediately
went on to formally record it with Pete Walsh a couple of days later at
The Townhouse before continuing with the second leg of the Sons And Fascination tour.
