The album version was recorded at Sphere Recording Studios, London in September 2010.

It was also known as Concrete And Cherry Blossom and both titles were used during recording. It wasn't until the final artwork of Big Music was being prepared that the final title of Concrete And Cherry Blossom was chosen; as the song is listed as On The Rooftop on some promos.
