- Stagefright was the first studio material
released by Simple Minds since the Graffiti Soul album of 2009.
- It was one of several new tracks recorded by the band in September 2010 for the Greatest Hits + compilation.
- The song was first made available as a free download on the 3rd June 2011 to whet the appetite for the band's forthcoming
Greatest Hits Forest Tour.
