Simple Minds' first lyric view. Taking inspiration from the sleeve design
and its inky photocopied sheen, the video has the same lo-tech roots with primeval fonts, jerky animation, rough cut-scenes and
day-glo background. If only those old punk fanzines could've been animated.
Laurie Evan's early photos of Simple Minds are thrown into the mix, eerie images which float in and out of the frame during
the quieter portions of the song, reminding everyone that this may be 2022, but this song's genesis was in 1978.
