This was the fifth instrumental demo on Simple Minds' Old Chapel Tape
which was recorded in January-February 1983 as preparatory work for Sparkle In The Rain.
It wasn't given a name.
This is one of the faster of the Old Chapel demos with a hard-hitting synth and bass underpinning. The verses are
dominated by a bass and keyboard riff whilst the choruses are led by guitar. Despite some variation near the end of the
song, where it ultimately fades out, the track simply has a verse-chorus structure without middle-8 or coda.
It was shelved after the Old Chapel sessions and hasn't been released in any form.
It is believed it was later given the name Clockwork.
