Following their recent Radio 2 A-listed, Top 40 Airplay hit, the rework of Promised You A Miracle, Simple Minds release a brand new version of their 1986 hit single "Sanctify Yourself" taken from their wonderful new Acoustic album. Originally a UK top 10 and US Billboard Hot 100 #14 single (taken from the band's triple platinum album Once Upon A Time), Sanctify Yourself has always been a staple of Simple Minds' live set and a fans' favourite. In keeping with the spiritual quest and urgency of the original, the re-imagined version is a stripped, more soulful, bluesy take on the song. After the hugely successful BBC Radio 2 In Concert and performance on Strictly Come Dancing, Simple Minds will tour Acoustic in the UK May And June 2016 - dates include May 18th Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (sold-out), 23rd Manchester Bridgewater Hall, 27th London Palladium (sold-out) and June 4th London Royal Drury Land Theatre (just announced).
