additional information
This Canadian import was particularly common in the UK, and could often be found in the racks. In addition to boasting both extended and single versions of the title track, the sleeve was slightly different and featured a picture of Simple Minds on the back instead of The Breakfast Club cast.

This picture was unique to the Canadian release according to stickers on the artwork.

don't you (forget about me) brazilian 12"

tracks
A1. Don't You (Forget About Me)[Extended Version](6:32)
B1. Up On The Catwalk[Extended Version](7:34)

catalogue
Virgin 100.8068
RCA 100.8068-A//RCA 100.8086-B

format
12" with colour paper labels with full colour sleeve.

release date
1986

additional information
This Brazilian 12" wasn't issued until a year later, well after Simple Minds had released Once Upon A Time. And whilst the artwork of this 12" reflected the new album's, it was of further interest to collectors by pairing together the extended versions of Don't You (Forget About Me) and Up On The Catwalk.

Rare and now difficult to find.

don't you (forget about me) peruvian 7"

tracks
A1. Don't You (Forget About Me)(4:20)
B1. Brass Band In Africa(5:10)

catalogue
Virgin PERU 18236
-

format
7" with jukebox colour labels in colour picture sleeve.

release date
1985

additional information
If coming from Peru wasn't rare enough, this version features a unique picture sleeve. The cover appears to be an advert for the Peruvian fashion clothing Twim. It isn't known if this was a custom pressing produced by Twim or is the standard Peruvian release.

Copies are extremely rare to track down.

Thanks to Clif for the scan.
