additional information
The original thermographic sleeves tend to fray at the edges since they were produced from soft card; absolutely mint copies are quite hard to come by. Additionally ensure that the inner sleeve is also present; there's lots of copies of the album where it's missing.

The album was first reissued by Virgin in 1982 when they purchased the back catalogue from Artisa. It first appeared as a full price album (Virgin V2246, October 1982) before being issued again as a budget release (Virgin OVED 124, October 1985). Virgin used their own label design, neglected to reproduce the inner sleeve, and used a shiny glossy sleeve which was entirely the wrong shade of blue.

additional information
When the album was eventually repressed by Arista, they neglected to include the thermographic sleeve, instead opting for a flat sleeve. It's made out of the same card, but just doesn't feature the bumps. The first sleeve design is the most desirable; this pressing is more of a curio.

additional information
This original Arista issue of Real To Real Cacopony is extremely rare; it's probably the rarest item released commercially in the UK discography. Whilst it shares the same dark blue sleeve of the album, the sleeve isn't textured.

Virgin reissues of the cassette are fairly easy to track down (Virgin TCV 2246 in 1982 and Virgin OVEDC 124 in October 1985) and feature their ghastly blue shiny sleeves.
