- Bin Dividers were used in LP and CD tracks to separate releases from each artist. They were usually simple
plain black or white pieces of plastic with the artist's name printed on a tab at the top.
- Virgin Germany issued this custom bin divider for German record shops. This doubled sided
divider featured the entire album discography. This handy piece of advertising ensured that purchasers knew
immediately the entire discography and could order anything that wasn't in stock.
- The transparent plastic has
started to yellow, a reaction of the cheap polycarbonate plastic to ultra-violet light. But hardly any
of these dividers have survived - only two are known of in collections.
