All the remixes prepared for the War Babies single were mastered at Metropolis in the mid-weeks of April 1998.
This ultra-rare CDR, dated April 16th, collects all the remixes which would be eventually released across all the foramts (including the promos).
It's also highly desirable for the unreleased Johnson Somerset Desert Dub Remix of the title track - its inclusion here
suggests that it was being considered for release.

On April 22nd, Remixes - Disc 1 was pressed at Metropolis Mastering. It featured the commerically
released full-length remixes from Glitterball along with the two Utah Saints remixes which would
finally end up on various formats of War Babies.
This is a copy of the original master according to the Virgin Vault listing.
Ultra rare as only a handful were pressed.

Also on April 22nd, Remixes - Disc 2 was pressed at Metropolis Mastering. It collected the rest of the
remixes pencilled in for the forthcoming War Babies release. And, again, the unreleased Johnson Somerset Desert Dub Remix
was included, adding further weight to the theory that it was going to be officially released.

A remix of Glittering Prize was also prepared by an unknown remixer. It got as far as
being pressed up on a single-sided Metropolis Mastering 12" acetate before being abandoned.
It's also present in Virgin's vault but is marked "Not For Production."
