The master tape was cut at The Townhouse by John Leckie on the 17th April 1979.
It featured the edit of the title track and the B-side Garden Of Hate.
The entire tape was used for the 7" promos of the single.
However, the commerical 7" featured the album version of Chelsea Girl instead. This was marked up on the
tape box at the time: Not Master - Edited Copy. Therefore Chelsea Girl was copied
directly from the album master tape for the commercial single.
The track time of Garden Of Hate was later added in black ink.
