additional information
It was an extremely glossy package. The inner sleeve was printed with the Brian Hogg essay, which was housed in-turn in the glossy outer sleeve.

It's still common today and mint copies shouldn't be difficult to find.

A small number were mispressed and the sleeves missed their final, gold, print-run. This resulted in sleeves with white hearts, white spines and white blocks on the back of the covers where gold should've been.

Instead of rejecting these copies, Virgin sold them instead. I remember one of the racks in the Virgin Mega Store in London being populated with just the "white heart" sleeves. These are now extremely rare to find.
