additional information
This release was previously part of the Rejuvenation (2001-2014) box set, which was released in December 2018. Four months later, it was issued separately.

The original extensive booklet also included images and artwork taken from the Scotland Rocks For Kosovo concert and Neon Lights, so was quite a mixture. It was decided to simplify the artwork for the inner sleeve, just concentrating on the artwork motifs of Cry and including two large pictures of Jim and Charlie.

The back cover of the sleeve was based on the back of the booklet, not the back of the CD. Again, it was simplier and scaled up to LP size better than the CD design.

There was a discussion about reversing the picture on the front of the LP. (This is because the original still, taken from the Dancing Barefoot video, was reversed.) In the end, it was decided to leave it how it was.

additional information
This release was previously part of the Rejuvenation (2001-2014) box set, which was released in March 2019. A month later, it was issued separately.

Bonus material was taken from Cry's plentiful singles: Lead The Blind, For What It's Worth and The Garden were taken from the Cry single whilst New Sunrise was the lone bonus track with Spaceface.

Where Is The Max? was an instrumental version of One Step Closer which had previously appeared on Planet Funk's debut album Non Zero Sumness. It was a good opportunity to include it here, as many Simple Minds fans were probably unaware of its existance, and it made a good closing track for the deluxe album. (As Cry originally finished on an instrumental).

Jim expanded on the sleeve notes he'd originally written for Rejuvenation (2001-2014) and so the version in the booklet is longer.
