- Mel often wanted to record solo material (there were rumours of a single in 1988/89) but nothing ever surfaced.
- He's been composing material for about ten years; writing with his brother, Sheena Easton and others.
- This 4 track EP was recorded in Germany a couple of years ago.
- Mel toured with Robert Palmer in 2000 which gave him the idea to cover Addicted To Love.
Mel sent Robert a tape and was surprised when Robert asked to sing the second verse.
Robert's vocals were recorded at his home studio.
- By tragic coincidence, Robert Palmer passed away a couple of weeks before the release of the EP. The record is dedicated to him.
